How to use it
A longer hold, and an even longer breath out.

a longer hold, a longer exhale.
For the end of a long day, or any moment that needs to wind down. The 4-7-8 tile stretches the breath out: in for 4, hold for 7, out for 8. The out-breath is the longest count, so there's room to let it all go.
No tile with you? Trace the shape on whatever's nearby: your nightstand, your palm, your pant leg.
The practice
- Start at the dot.
- Trace up to the peak as you breathe in for 4.
- Trace down the long side as you hold for 7.
- Trace back along the base to the dot as you breathe out for 8.
Go at your own pace. There's no right number of rounds. If the hold feels too long, shorten it. The longer exhale is the part that matters.
When to reach for it
- Winding down at the end of the day
- As a quiet ritual before bed, in place of one more scroll
- When a moment feels too full and you want to slow it down
How it works with your hands
Each stretch of the raised path carries one part of the breath, and each corner is something you can feel: that's where the breath changes. Slow your fingertip down as the counts get longer. Let your touch set the pace and your breath will follow it. Pair it with a drop of our lavender blend on the unglazed back, if you like.
Choose your form
- Small tile (1.75" × 1.75"): fits in a pocket, a palm or the corner of your desk.
- Large tile (2.5" × 2.5"): a little heavier, a path you can really settle into. Lives well on a desk or nightstand.
- Keychain (1.75" × 1.75"): clips to your keys or bag, so the path comes with you.
Mini keychains and jewelry charms are on their way. Join the list to hear first.
